I AM A MASTER HAIRCUTTING SPECIALIST.

I cut all hair types, all textures, all ages. Men, women, children. Short hair, long hair, bobs, bangs, barbering, buzz cuts, layered hair, one length hair. Curly hair, wavy hair, straight hair, coarse hair, fine hair, big hair, flat hair, thick hair, dense hair, heavy hair. Dry hair, oily hair, challenging hair, tricky hair, downright difficult hair….

Every head of hair is unique and my approach is flexible to what works best for the individual in the chair at that moment. I do dry cutting. I do wet cutting, (sometimes wet cutting followed by dry cutting, or vice versa). Whatever the hair requires. I do scissor cutting, razor cutting, clipper cutting, and very often some combination of different tools and techniques. No two heads of hair are the same, so why should your haircut be??

I generally cut the hair (or at the very least finish the hair) in its natural state so the hair functions optimally in real life, whether styled or not, dirty or clean, blown out or slept on.

My haircuts don’t require styling (or styling product) to look good-but may look even more amazing with the appropriate styling tool and a minimal amount of the right styling product for your hair. I’ll customize a quick and simple regimen for cleansing and styling your cut so you always look your best. On that note, we only use products that are clean, light & natural feeling. Never sticky or heavy (or heavily fragranced). I tailor the hair to your face, body and bone structure so that it breathes & moves with you, similar to how a custom tailored suit (or dress) would. My haircuts don’t grow out, they grow in. They look as good a month (or 2 or 3 or 6 months) later as they did the day they were cut-sometimes even better somehow !

A great haircut should be life-changing. Period. Anything short of that is a failure in my opinion.

My appointments are time based as follows. Children’s haircuts require 30 minutes. Men’s haircuts & Short haircuts require 45 minutes. Long haircuts (includes blowout) require 60 minutes. Extra long, extra dense, extra coarse and / or curly haircuts require 90 minutes. The average women’s haircut lasts around 3 months (think seasonal). The average men’s haircut lasts around 2 months (although many last even longer). Some haircuts (usually the 90 min ones) can last up to 6 months (or longer!) There is no universal rule for how often you should cut your hair (despite what many hairdressers will tell you). It is unique to the individual. New clients, feel free to email me with any questions or if you’re not sure how much time to book.  And don’t hesitate to share any thoughts, concerns, pictures or references that would help me to be more prepared for our first appointment. aBut no pressure, you can also just show up and I’ll know what to do.

Either way. looking forward to working with you!
